Terms of use

Last updated: August 9, 2026

These terms govern your use of MachuPicchu.com (the “Site”), operated by Highland Adventures Inc. (“Highland Adventures,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

What the Site is

The Site helps you plan a complete Machu Picchu trip: planning guides, the Trip Planner and route recommender, availability and rules trackers, alert emails you subscribe to, the AI trip specialist, and the trips we offer. Content on the Site is provided for general trip-planning information; it is not a live inventory, a price quote, or a guarantee of availability, permits, or entry. Access rules, schedules, and conditions are set by the Peruvian authorities and third parties and can change without notice.

Booked trips are governed by your proposal

Every trip on the Site is operated by Highland Adventures. When you book, the agreement for that trip is your written proposal together with the booking terms and conditions you e-sign at acceptance, and any release of liability signed for your party. If anything on this page conflicts with those documents for a booked trip, those documents control.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Probe, scan, overload, or otherwise interfere with the Site’s operation or security
  • Use automated tools to scrape the Site or submit forms, or misrepresent your identity when contacting us
  • Use the AI trip specialist for anything other than planning a trip, or attempt to extract, disrupt, or misuse it
  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose

Intellectual property

The Site’s content, including text, photographs, and design, is owned by or licensed to Highland Adventures Inc. and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and print pages for your own trip planning; any other reproduction or distribution requires our written permission.

Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is.” Availability, rules, and status information is informational, carries the source and time we observed it, and is confirmed when you book; it is not a guarantee of government permits and is not legal, visa, or medical advice. While we work to keep our content accurate, we do not warrant that any page is error-free or current. What we stand behind contractually for your trip is your written proposal, not a marketing page.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Highland Adventures Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site itself. Liability connected to a booked trip is addressed in the booking terms you sign; nothing on this page limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes about the Site are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Florida.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date; continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
