Peru package
Classic Peru Explorer
9 days, from $1,950 per traveler

Our anchor trip and the one most travellers should start with: Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu across nine unhurried days, with the citadel route chosen to fit you rather than a fixed template. It is the complete picture of highland Peru, arranged so the pieces connect without stress.
Right for / not right for
Right for

- Anyone who prefers an unhurried pace with real acclimatisation
- Couples, friends, and families comfortable with moderate walking
Not right for
- Travellers on a tight under-one-week window
- Trekkers whose main goal is the Inca Trail itself
- Anyone wanting the lowest-possible-cost option

Common questions
- Why start in Lima?
- It makes the domestic connections and acclimatisation smoother, and adds the coast and its food before the highlands. If you would rather skip it, we can adjust.
- Which circuit will we do at Machu Picchu?
- We confirm the circuit and route with you during planning based on your dates, fitness, and interests. The current route rules are on our Rules Center.
- Is this good for families?
- Yes, at a moderate pace. For younger kids or grandparents, the Family Comfort trip is built specifically around a lower physical load.
